Get error message The Connection Was Reset. Page appears for few seconds then goes to error message. Have re-installed, cleared history & cookies, & refreshed.
Since last night, I have had problems accessing a website that I use regularly. When I select in bookmarks the site appears for a few seconds as it runs through log in, password is saved. After several seconds the it stops loading and I get an error message, The Connection Was Reset. I have download and re-installed, cleared history & cookies, & refreshed. I have no problems with any other site. I emailed the site and have been informed the site is fine, it is located in the US and I am in Australia.
I have never had this problem before and other sites are fine, and have used the site for around 4 years.
The site is darcyandlizzy and is on SMF Simple Machines.

There is security software like Avast, Kaspersky, BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connections and send their own certificate.

This Connection is Untrusted is sometimes caused because the computer system clock is wrong. Check the time / date / time zone settings.
This doesn't solve the problem. I have tried Safari and the problem is happens on it as well, but only for this one site. Time Zone and Date are correct.
I have also turned off the Firewall and tried this, but the problem still occurs.
If the problem is with more than one program, then the problem is in the computer.
As a test, disable your protection programs.
