I accidentally saved password for a site in firefox. Now i need the previous password.

To change to new password, you require old password. I punched the old password that i had saved in my diary and put the new ones. The system asked to saved the new one. So, i clicked it. But unfortunately the old password was not correct and so the new password was not registered.

Now, the need the just previous password?????

Unless you have a backup of the password files . . . . .

Go to the login page and select Forgot Password. A reset message will be sent the e-mail the site has for you.

In the event that the passwords information is lost, you should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can compress it using a password.
