I have NO signatures set, but an image appears in compose and reply anyway. How do I get rid of it?

Hi, I cut and pasted an image into ONE email - which is deleted. For some reason I now get it in ALL compose and all reply windows (after the reply include), and I cannot remove it even in the compose window. How do I get rid of it. Thanks for the help, Ingrid

Well, that is very strange.

Restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled".

If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender.

Thank you. Fiddling with this sorted it, but I am not sure what the offender was even after it is gone.
