Firefox being slow :   You could try and disable Multiprocess (e10s) :
You can turn it off as follows : Type in the address bar about:config (promise to be careful, if asked) Type and search for the preferences : browser.tabs.remote.autostart and set it's value to false browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2 and set it's value to false

Note:   the exact name of the preference may vary, but it will start with browser.tabs.remote.autostart

I was going to try that, and because I really didn't know what I was doing. I was to afraid to try it. But thank you for your info. I am trying to learn how all of this works, and have to say I am not a techno wiz at this stuff lol.
