Would be good if you could choose a page for the new tab.

At the moment you can choose whatever page you want for the homepage, but not for a new tab. It would be good if at least the user could change the new tab page to be whatever they wanted.

You needn't allow plugin developers to change it if that's a security concern (i think that's why the option was removed). Just let the user choose.

I hope Firefox has this in development for next releases. But in terms of a alternative is to install this extension to allow you to customize your new tab desires! https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/new-tab-override/
