Problem with: Firefox ver. 56.0.1 (64-bit) with Windows 8.1 Pro:

When it starts, it opens THREE Tasks in Task Manager.

Any which way it gets closed, it closes ONE task, leaving TWO open tasks in Task Manager.

By comparison, Google Chrome opens FIVE Tasks, and closes FIVE Tasks.

Now, all types of ERROR Messages POP-UP with FF, which did NOT happen before the 2 recent upgrades.

OK. A bit of a problem getting the 3rd upgrade in one week to take effect.

Anyway, now running with FF ver. 56.0.2 (64-bit).

When FF starts, it opens THREE Tasks in Task Manager.

When FF Exits, it closes THREE Tasks in Task Manager.

Now, there are NO ERROR Messages that POP-UP.

Problem solved,

Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.
