I want the old front page of Firefox back. Any way to make this happen?

I dislike the way the new home page looks. I liked it better when the whole page was the content. I do not like things centered in the middle of the page. Does anyone have any ideas on how it can be fixed?

Only way to get back to what it was before was to go back to FF56 that's if you want to.

Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner of the content area, and start un-checking the features until you get what looks good to you.

The old Homepage is gone, but you can get a close approximation via some o those features being deselected.

If you have the new Activity Stream on your new tab page and home page, you can:

(A) Remove it everywhere, or (B) Keep it on the new tab page and remove it on the home page

Here's how:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful or accepting the risk.

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste newt and pause while the list is filtered

(3A) To Disable it Completely: Double-click the browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.enabled preference to switch the value from true to false

(3B) To Remove it From the Home Page: Double-click the browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.aboutHome.enabled preference to switch the value from true to false

Does that get you back to what you wanted? If not, could you describe what you had before in more detail?
