Newegg and other sites, navigation tabs not working
So, this has only been going on for about two or three days. Suddenly the navigation tabs, specifically, on Newegg, that allow you to see product specs, feedback/reviews, etc., are no longer working in FF 58. They did work prior to the update a few days ago.
They work fine in Edge, Chrome, IE, Vivaldi, etc., but even after doing complete removal of FF including settings and registry entries, and doing a clean install of the browser, still don't work.
Really pissing me off as I use the Newegg website for looking up hardware specs and finding common issues through the reviews, I NEED those center page navigation tabs to work on the product pages. Javascript IS enable in the about:config, so it's not that.
Ideas?

Nevermind. I figured out the issue although it doesn't make any sense at all. Apparently I somehow got logged out of Newegg. Logging back in apparently resolved the issue although as I said it makes no sense as people who do not have Newegg accounts can access that information normally. Whatever though, problem solved.

Nobody has any idea on this? Somebody knows why this isn't working and why some page elements, flash like "working" circles just run continuously now and never actually load. Primarily it's the lack of clicking on the product page "tabs" for specifications, reviews, etc., that is a big problem though.
I've tried all the normal methods for checking plugins, enabling flash elements, javascript, none of it seems to fix the issue though.
Pls provide the URL with the issue.
ALL URLS for ALL products on Newegg. EVERY single one. This one will work as well as any other.

No problem with the link. I think you got adblockers causing the problem or A/V blocking something.
No, I do not. uBlock origin is disabled for the entire Newegg site, tracking protection is turned off, pop up blockers in the FF 58 settings is turned off and the only AV/MW running is Malwarebytes which has NEVER been a factor for any mainstream site in the past, but which I turned off just for the purpose of testing and made no difference whatsoever. Either you are not testing with the same beta version of FF that I am, or there is a setting or something that I am missing.
It's not the "LINK" that is the problem. It is clicking on any of the mid page tabs that open up the product specifications, reviews, etc., and I don't think you are understanding that. The page itself resolves fine. It's what's on the page, some SPECIFIC content type that allows switching between those navigation tabs for the product descriptions, specifications, reviews, FAQ, etc., down on the middle of every Newegg product page, that is not working.
It has nothing to do with the page LINK.

I don't have Firefox 58 installed, but the tabs seem to operate normally in Firefox 57 and Firefox 59 (Nightly) on Windows 7 (64-bit).
It would be quite annoying if there is a glitch particular to Firefox 58. But when I just search around I don't see people mentioned Newegg as a problem.
Does your computer have a touch screen? If so, do the tabs work if you touch them?
Oh, now I see you solved this. You're right that you don't need to be logged in to operate the tabs, so it's puzzling that helped.
