On most Web pages Firefox blacks out sections of the screen, possibly where ads appear, but never releases the blacked out area. Eventually, I have more blacked out area than Web page and sections of the page are in different zoom levels. After moving from one page to the next, there is no text, only black.

On Facebook, linking to an outside site works once or twice till Firefox crashes.

I have screen shots to show the result.

I'm using a Galaxy Tab Pro (12.1") with all the available updates to the firmware and Firefox.

Hi

I think we can help fix that for you.

  • From the Android home screen, open the application menu and select the Settings app (typically a cogwheel)
  • Select Apps and find Firefox.
  • Select Firefox and clear the cache. Do not clear data - this will remove all your bookmarks and passwords.

This should resolve the issue, but if not, please come back here and we can look into this further for you.
