In the second tab, try changing the zoom level. Hold Ctrl and tap + (or if it's too large, tap -), then release Ctrl.
Any difference?
If zooming helps, that is characteristic of an issue with Firefox 59 on Windows if ClearType (the font smoothing feature in Windows) is disabled. Users with that configuration who do not want to return ClearType to its default behavior (because they feel it makes the fonts too blurry) can disable hardware acceleration in Firefox until this is sorted out. See: Firefox's performance settings.

Hi, should always have :
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/export-firefox-bookmarks-to-backup-or-transfer
Sorry, No idea. it's a computer.
Please try : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/export-firefox-bookmarks-to-backup-or-transfer
Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 59.0.1 with a Full Version Installer
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
Hi pt33, are you having a problem opening a second page on the same site using the address bar?
Firefox has a feature called "switch to tab" and you can bypass that by holding down a key when you submit the URL:
- hold Shift to open a duplicate URL in the same tab
- hold Alt to open a duplicate URL in a new tab (if you are viewing the new tab page, it will be that new tab)
You also could try turning off "switch to tab" on the Options page if you never want to see an indication on the address bar drop-down that the same URL already is open in another tab. This article has a section titled "How can I control what results the address bar shows me?": Address bar autocomplete suggestions in Firefox.
Any improvement?
I have two tabs side by sideone has an active and fully functioning url to my email - the other one (up until reboot) had another instance of the email running with a different folder invoked. now, the page fails to fill - it only has a few frames of page elements
