SENT messages are not there in SENT folder

Hello, I just started using Thunderbird and I sent an email but the sent email is NOT there in the sent folder. And yes "place a copy of the message" is already checked. I also clicked on "Repair" in the sent tab but nothing.

How to fix?

did you check both sent folders? What mail provider?
