Last night I received an email, the main content of which was clearly spam, though trying to blackmail me, the reason for my concern was the heading included a password that I use, though not frequently. The email claimed to use a keylogger to get this password. I have not visited the site that I use the password for, for some time and as Firefox remembers the password I would not have typed it in. I scanned my desktop (Ubuntu 16.04) with clam tk and it picked up 60 items which I quarantined, these were in Libre office and not Firefox. I have since deleted and re-installed both Firefox and Libre office, and changed passwords. My concern is, how did it get hold of a password?, and other than what I have already done is there any other measures I should take to secure my computer? Thanks in advance

Make sure you change ALL of your passwords on every site. Also, check your user information on those sites to make sure they are still correct.
