When using Firefox in either search tab, mediaTV hijacks the search engine and uses myfirst tab. I tried three anti-maleware programs recommended to remove this with no success, and also refreshed Firefox. This is a new install and showd up after downloading Firefox from the Mozilla page before anything else was downloaded.

Your system details show that you have this add-on installed :

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/weather-forecast11/?src=rating

This is what one of the two reviews says (the other one says pretty much the same) :

"After installing this add-on, I began having Google searches redirected to Yahoo. Yahoo was deleted from my list of search engines long ago, so assumed that this had come about as a result of something snuck into some software. I uninstalled the add-on and the redirects stopped. I have concluded that the redirects were linked to the add-on. If I am mistaken, I welcome an alternative explanation from the creators of the add-on."

So, please go to Options => Add-ons => Extensions and remove the add-on, and everything should be back to normal.

The "Easy Video Downloader" extension just updated a week ago, so if the problem started after that, you might try disabling that one, too.
