Firefox hotkeys changed
Hi. I'm not sure when it happened, because I usually leave Firefox update itself automatically.
I like to use ctrl+enter to complete .com URL, shift+enter to complete .net URL, and ctrl+shift+enter to complete .org URL, and add alt key to these hotkeys to open it on separate window. Only ctrl+enter seem to work and shift+enter was replaced to searching on default search engine on separate window. But I do it by doing alt+enter.
What are the new hotkeys and how do I change them back?

These are the defaults hotkey for firefox

You can read these bug report to find out what happened to these hotkeys.
- Bug 237027 - Use ctrl-enter for URL canonization on all platform, and offer an opt-out for Windows/Linux users where it interferes with opening URLs in (background) tabs
- Bug 1490138 - optionally use ctrl-shift-enter to open search result in background tab (to match address bar option)

I don't think that the docs on SuMo have been updated to reflect this change that also affects Mac (Command + Enter is now Control + Enter on Mac as well).
In Firefox 64 there are changes to the specifiers for filtering the results. See Changing results on the fly:
Same problem. Ctl_Shift_Enter no longer adds .org to a url in the address bar.
I see the bug report. Where is the fix?
There is no fix possible AFAIK.
The Ctrl key can do a canonization and add www. and .com and adding the Shift key opens in a background tab. There is currently no way that WebExtension can override existing keyboard shortcuts, so it isn't possible I just noticed that you can modify keyboard shortcuts from WebExtension in Firefox 66+ via the about:addons page (click the cogwheel button -> Manage Extension Shortcuts).
