When accessing a youtube video using Firefox on my Mac I get the following error:

"Video unavailable This video is restricted. Try signing in with a Google Apps account."

When accessing the same video using Firfox on my Android phone is plays fine. When accessing the same video using Chrome on my Mac is plays fine.

I checked the Firefox settings on my Mac and couldnot see any obvious problems. I tried changing some of the options but that made no difference.

Grateful for any help you can provide.

I have disabled the F-Secure Add-on and the video is playing now.

Enabling the F-Secure Add-on and the video is restricted.

I have again disbabled the F-Secure Add-on and the video plays ok.

Looks like a sulution for my problem.

For the most part that message means something like a age or region restriction that is why you get that message and they want a verification of the account user privileges and location to access the video. So are your computer and phone region the same?

You would have to check the settings in the Google account.

Thanks for the link. I tried it - my google account is set to unrestricted, but the YouTube account says it restricted.

YouTube doesn't offer any means to unrestrict it other the refering to the system administrator (that'll be me).

I can access the video on my computer using chrome but not firefox so not sure location makes a difference.

I notice it says a "Google Apps account", suggesting access might be limited to particular employees. If you are only signed in to your personal Google account, you may need to also sign in to another one. (Unlike Chrome, Firefox doesn't have special handling of Google accounts so you need to look at accounts individually.)
