How to ensure audio is enabled when I link to a website with a video?

more options

I want to be able to click on a link to a site to view a video and click PLAY with the audio already turned on. But often I have to ENABLE AUDIO first. How can I avoid this? One answer last week took me to a site that instructed me to click on an icon in my address bar. But I saw no such icon. Thank you for taking the time to read my question.
