Facebook app icon in the top url bar is missing when I try to open Facebook urls in Firefox Android. Other apps (YouTube, Reddit) don't have this issue. Now there is no way for me to open Facebook urls in native Facebook app..

Hi

I understand from other issues that Facebook do not design their content to be viewed in some browsers such as Firefox for Android. This is an issue for the facebook support team.

I don't think you understood my point. I'm not trying to see the facebook website on firefox for android. I want to see it in the native facebook app. But the little android icon that should appear in the url bar when I am on the facebook page is not there. So there is no way to go from firefox for android to facebook..

Edit: to be more clear, the little android app icon is actually replaced by a button that asks you to make a hyperlink on your homescreen. But no, I don't really see any scenario where I want that to happen....

Hi

I recomend that you give Firefox Preview a try - it is available from the Google Play store. In the settings menu, you can select to open links in apps.
