Latest version of Firefox (open normal or without add-ons) with many test in differents velocity test pages is 50% than other Browsers with 100% with 600 Mbps.

Example in Speedtest.net:

Firefox Developer Edition 78.0b6 (64bit) ==> Internet Velocity 50% (10 times) Ping ms: 2 Download Mbps: 336.35 Upload Mbps: 287.59

Other Browsers, Chrome, IE, Eddge ==> Internet Velocity 100% (10 times) Microsoft Edge Versión 85.0.544.0 Ping ms: 2 Download Mbps: 567.01 Upload Mbps: 634.40

follow the steps and instruction :

  1. Clear browsing history regularly.
  2. Remove unnecessary add-ons.
  3. Remove unnecessary toolbars.
  4. Disable Flash.
  5. Disable Firefox Auto-update.

goto safe mode: ctrl+shift+P.

i hope your firefox is working better than earlier.
