Need Firefox to be default browser in 2020
Microsoft/Windows 10 has removed Firefox from their list of potential default browsers. Most information answering "how to make Firefox my default browser" is out of date as the information says to go to where Microsoft Edge is noted as the Windows 10 system's choice of default browser, then to click on that and choose Firefox from the choice dialog box. Sadly Firefox is no longer in that choice dialog box. Please advise, thanks.

UPDATE: Also, the browser that is currently active shows up as "Bing - Mozilla Firefox" but isn't the familiar Firefox I had before, with my frequently visited sites, etc. Help! Gina Kay Landis

As I suggested in the contributor forum thread: Try uninstalling your current "Bing - Mozilla Firefox" version - see Uninstall Firefox from your computer for instructions. After uninstalling Firefox, you can reinstall the latest Firefox version directly from Mozilla. See How to install Firefox on Windows for details. This will not affect your user profile data.
You can also try finding your old user profile data, if any information is currently missing, either now or after the uninstall and reinstall - see Recover user data missing after Firefox update.
