I have been using Firefox on a surface pro 4. I recently bought a second surface pro 4, and installed Firefox on it as well. I used the second device to browse, and this filled up my top visited sites columns with new thumbnails.

Trying to use the original device, and all of my saved thumbnails with the important websites are gone. It would seem that my first device has synced to the second device, instead of the other way around.

Is there a way to revert to my original layout, before this sync, without having to try to remember all four columns, and pin them manually?

With sync, there is no primary. All selected data is shared with all members of the sync.

. . . . and all of my saved thumbnails with the important websites are gone.

Going back to those sites may restore the thumbnails.
