Hi I’m on Thunderbird 91.2.1 ( 32 Bits) I had sent to the Trash folder a message received in October/November 2021 and subsequently emptied the Trash folder. How can I retrieve this deleted message? . I went to my “Profile” folder and to the Mail, Local Folder folder, following your instructions. .

In the Mail/Local Folder there are four files ( “Unsent messages”, Unsent messages.msf, msgFilterRules.Dat, ,Trash and Trash.msf,

Unfortunately, none of these files contains deleted messages.. When I open the “Trash” file with The Thunderboird.exe program, all I get is a “Write-To” screen.

How can I retrieve those deleted messages?

Thanks

Franco Vivona

After emptying the Trash you can't, unless you did create a backup of your profile folder prior to deleting the message.
