On a new PC I've set up a new install of T'Bird using imap. The old(broken) PC was using T'Bird pop3. I have been able to recover the file Mail folder from the old machine. How can I get the old emails into the new T'Bird?

Any advice is welcome.

Thank you David, that did the trick! I tried all sorts not thinking the solution would be so simple! Bill

Look in the Mail folder and then the account folder. Messages are there. I think you'll be okay to copy that and, with TB not running, use File Explorer to store them in Local Folders (being sure not to overlay any folders there of same name). Start TB and they should appear.
