Logins & passwords - editing website info. field
Hi, Searched firefox support & googled but can't find any solutions to this.
I need to edit the website field on a saved login & password. Can't find a way to do it & I've tried creating a new login but it still won't let me do what I need to.
A website that I use has 2 logins, depending upon which sub-part I want to go to. The first is, say, www.sitename/sub1/ & the other is www.sitename/sub2/ & each then brings a separate login page. I want to be able to save or create these 2 separate ID's, but the logins & passwords page will only create a login based on www.sitename
Is there any way to do this or am I stuck with having to do this manually each time?
Cheers,
Les (not so sunny) Greece.

For site login or user account creation you need to contact their site support about this. As Firefox doesn't control how sites control their user accounts and login.
Hi, Think you've missed the point, the problem isn't with the login at the site where I've created 2 ID's & 2 passwords, the problem is the inability to manually edit the website field in Firefox. Don't know where it stores this info., couldn't find that either, so it seems I'm stuck with manual user names & passwords.
Cheers,
Hi, it's only per domain, so you can't separate it.
Thanks for that Ty, more of an answer than I'd had.
Now, how do I put forward a suggestion for a development item? As there are quite a number of people signed up to this website (which caused me to find this problem) I can't believe I'm the only one using Firefox & it seems like a relatively easy thing to fix. I'll have to check out Chrome & see if that does the same.
Cheers for help.
Sure, you can suggest it on https://connect.mozilla.org/ as an idea.
