How to save/backup my about:config settings?
Okay so I just installed firefox to a new desktop and it synced up my extensions, passwords and bookmarks (minus bookmark icons/favicons which was solved simply by clicking on the bookmark in the toolbar and then firefox did the rest, kind of annoying but no problem)
Otherwise it seems all my browser settings, including settings I have done in the about:config have not been restored. I was under the impression that syncing firefox will sync browser settings and about:config settings but apparently thats not the case?
Is their a way to do that? I am less concerned about firefox settings as I can just screenshot a few pages no problems but I made many changes in the about:config that I am not sure I remember what I changed and theirs a million settings to change there so its not possible to recover that unless their is a recovery tool in firefox.
Again sync does not help here I need something more "robust" if that makes sense.

If you want to backup prefs.js then you should remove all lines with timers (ten-digit numbers) and other lines that do not look relevant and that you do not recognize and and might be used by Firefox internally. You can rename the file to user.js and place the file in the profile folder and start Firefox once to import the user.js to about:config and save them to prefs.js when you close Firefox. You shouldn't leave user.js as this file is processed each time you start Firefox, so changes made to prefs present in user.js are lost when you close and restart Firefox.
May I follow this guide: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles
