Hello,

Since I've updated firefox to the latest version, my downloads seems to always be incomplete. The download manager window shows that the download is finished, however, the file is unreadable. If I download the same file using Internet Explorer, it will be readable. I have not tried multiple file type. The one in question was an executable (.exe) file.

It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox.
You can try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.

See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_save_or_download_files (Disable virus scanning in Firefox preferences - Windows)

Hi,

I don't have an anti-virus installed. I re-installed Windows and the latest version of Firefox and it seems to have fixed the issue.

Thanks for your help.
