Occasionally, when there is a firefox update, it resizes my browser page so that the text is tiny. Sure I can hit ctrl and scroll up, but this just resizes the current page I'm on. This has happened to me once before, and I had to reload a previous version of firefox.

It was a simple fix. I reloaded 3.5 and the problem is solved. Unfortunately every once in a while there is the same issue with updates. I have talked to the live chat for firefox and as much as they want to blame my system, they cant give me a real solution to this problem.

You can increase the String pref layout.css.devPixelsPerPx from 1.0 to 2.0 in 0.1 steps to see what works best.

In Firefox 3.6 and later this pref is a String value parsed to a float and allows to fine tune the dimensions of all elements more precisely.

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.
