Website portion of screen flickers up and down if page size is reduced
I made three connections to Firefox Chat support for this question. All my chat connections with a support person end abruptly (timeout??) without me doing anything.
I am running Sony VAIO w/Windows XP SP3, everything up to date. I made Foxfire my primary internet application.
If I open Firefox, other than my homepage, and reduce the screen size so I can see a second application running behind the Firefox page, the reduced Firefox website active page shakes up and down, does not go black. Only the reduced page website section shakes, not the Foxfire toolbar section and the Foxfire chat page did not shake during the chat.
I am running Firefox add-on extensions Java Console 6.0.16 - 6.0.22, Java Quick Starter 1.0, and Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant 1.2.1
Could this be something related to refresh rate?

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Thank you cor-el. Followed your advice and Firefox instructions.
Problem was an extension, specifically HyperSnap Toolbar 1.1.6.
I uninstalled the extension and will pass word to HyperSnap about the conflict.
Again, many thanks!
You're welcome and thanks for reporting which extension caused it.
