I installed firefox 4 to test it (and I hate it) and so I went to uninstall, I wasn't totally paying attention because I must have clicked something and it uninstalled all my add-ons and deleted all my bookmarks. Is there any possible way to get them back? Please I'm desperate. I have lots of important school links that I need

If you removed your personal data while uninstalling the Firefox 4 beta version then all your bookmarks may be gone. You can check if the backups in the bookmarkbackups folder are gone as well. If the complete Firefox profile folder is gone then your only hope is to use an Undelete utility like Recuva to recover the files.

Upgrade to Firefox 4 again (without uninstalling your current Firefox 3.6 version), click on "Bookmarks" and then on "Show All Bookmarks".

When the "Library" window opens, click on the "Import and Backup" button (located at the top), select "Restore" and from the side menu choose the earliest possible date.

Your lost bookmarks will appear on Firefox 4 again!

That'd be great, if this thread wasn't 2 months old... figured it was a loss and moved on.
