When I begin a search on Firefox, in the Google search bar as soon as I type a letter any previous site searches starting with that letter pops up as a list. How can I disable this feature? I find it annoying.

You can disable that feature here:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > History: [] "Remember search and form history"

Make sure that you do not get confused by the search suggestions that are retrieved from Google site based on what you have typed.
