store password
Hi, the first time I visited my email and logged on firefox asked if I'd like to store password, I clicked never for this site and I have now changed my mind. I can not figure out how to store the password on my loggin page that I previously told firefox never to store. Please help.... Thanks

If you click "Never" the Firefox will create an exception that you need to remove.
Remove site(s) from the Exceptions:
- Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: Exceptions
Hi, Thank you for your reply. I am soo grateful for you help. There are no sites in my exceptions box. What I am looking to do is have firefox automatically have my username and password in the boxes of my hotmail login page. Maybe hotmail has disabled this feature in firefox. Because there is nothing in my exceptions box and every time I login to my hotmail I have to do this manually and firefox does not ask me if I'd like to store the information...Is there a way to have this info stored? Thanks ever so much...best wishes, Peter.
I would recommend you to never save passwords on the browser as it is extremely vulnerable to hacker who can get access to your passwords and change it or indulge in illegal activities.
You can only save the user name via remember form history on the Hotmail log in side. The Firefox Password Manager doesn't work in that case because the log in is generated via JavaScript.
- Control whether Firefox automatically fills in forms
- Firefox (Tools) > Options > Privacy > History: "Remember search and form history"
'You can only save the user name via remember form history on the Hotmail log in side.' This is even more of a mystery..When I am on my Hotmail Log-in page I check the two boxes, 'remember user name' & 'remember password' and it NEVER does....no matter how I try I always have to log-in manually even if I go off the page for an hour....such a drag (I do not think a hacker can access my computer stored passwords..everything is encrypted)
Those check boxes on the log in page set a cookie on the browser to remember those choices.
You may have to create an allow exception to keep those cookies.
