When I use Firefox as my internet connection and try to access my bank account, a screen with the message Untrusted Connection appears. I have been checking my account until today with no problem.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Who is the issuer of that certificate?

You can retrieve the certificate and check who issued the certificate.

  • Click the link at the bottom of the error page: "I Understand the Risks"

Let Firefox retrieve the certificate: "Add Exception" -> "Get Certificate".

  • Click the "View..." button to inspect the certificate and check who is the issuer.
