I cannot view my online bank statements after downloading Firefox 4.
When I try to download my bank statements, a box opens but then nothing else happens

Various people have reported problems with the Adobe Reader X plugin and Firefox 4. Hopefully someone with a solution will join the thread.
As a workaround, you can view the statements in Adobe Reader itself, outside of the browser. To set this, open Adobe Reader and go to:
Edit > Preferences
Click Internet in the left column, and uncheck the checkbox for Display PDF in browser. Click OK to save the setting.
After this change, when a web site pushes a PDF, you will get the familiar Open/Save dialog.
(I actually prefer this method; it seems to reduce problems in both Firefox and IE, and the menus and toolbars are easier to work with.)

Thanks, but so far that hasn't addressed the problem. It seems to be deeper - the pdf doesn't seem to be able to download and doesn't show up in the Adobe Reader list of files. This happens both from a bank website and from QuickBooks online. Also, when I reloaded the Adobe Reader X, it didn't launch itself and when I open it by clicking on the icon, only my older files list. (Not too familiar with Adobe, so not sure if this is standard or not.) Again thank you for your help.
I have firefox 11.o and am having the same problem.
Hi dudds1, You're replying to a thread that is 10 months old. You should use https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new where volunteers can get more details about your setup.
Because this thread is so old and more people might start using it for their own questions, I'm going to lock it.
