When I try to view my webmail in yahoo.com on Firefox, I get a "Bad Request" message on the tab and no mail.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

It works when I dug into and deleted the Yahoo.com cookie. Why did that work? Thanks. Hope it stays fixed

This issue is usually caused by corrupted cookies that the server doesn't understand and clearing the cookies from the affected website usually works to fix it. In severe cases it may be necessary to delete the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies.
