Why can't I bookmark a site in 2 different places, i.e. toolbar and a folder?

I have a bookmark folder called, Morning. When I sign on to Firefox, I open all tabs in this folder to get my morning array.. mostly news and entertainment sites. Throughout the day, I primarily check my iGoogle and Newser. I prefer to have those 2 sites on my toolbar.. Never had a problem with doing this before, but now Firefox deletes the bookmark in the second place. I can either have those bookmarked in my folder or on toolbar, but not both. Help?

You can do a Copy & Paste in the Bookmarks Manager (Shift+Ctrl+B) to create a copy of a bookmark.

You can also drag the website's favicon on the left end of the location bar to a folder into the Bookmarks menu drop down list or to a folder in the Bookmarks side bar (Ctrl+B) or onto the Bookmarks Toolbar.

In the side bar you need to click to the left of the icon to prevent Firefox from opening the bookmark.
