It is a domain that is owned by Mozilla and if you go to http://awesomeness.mozilla.org you are redirected to a privacy policy ( http://policy2.responsys.net/permission.htm ) so the signs point that it may be legit.

You may have subscribe to Mozilla newsletter at some point. For example one can subscribe on http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/fx/
