When I try to save a download to my specified directory (C:\Downloads) it tells me that (C:\documents and settings\local\temp) can not be changed and for me to change the properties of that folder. I made no changes to any folder regarding downloads. What can I do to fix this problem?

Make sure that your anti-virus software isn't locking files and prevents Firefox from moving them to the destination folder.

Thanks for your input. I haven't changed anything in my virus protection to make this happen. It has been saving my downloads now for a couple years without any problems. I am really confused as to how this started. If you have any further input, I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks again. Horsefly
