What is the solution to the java script problem if any? This happens on 2 different pc's with different cpu's (intel & amd), different motherboards as well as hardware and software.

On counterpunch.org and some other websites I get the following message: A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

Script: js/ff_browser:395.

Stopping the script gives a timeout before it comes back again. Continuing sometimes works and sometimes not.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
