I keep getting random script unresponsive errors. These occure at least ten times a day some days and it's not a specific website that is doing it.

Quite a lot of the time I get random script unresponsive errors. They sometimes are for main.js and tabbrowser.js or whatever that is...

They often make the entire browsing session crash.

I've followed all instructions here: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/warning-unresponsive-script

And nothing has worked.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

You can try to reset Firefox and create a new profile.
