My brand new computer came from the factory with Trend Micro Titanium Maximum Security as an Anti-Virus. When its free trial ran out I BOUGHT & PAID for it for a YEAR. I liked you guys & used you as my only browser. Today Firefox updated & my anti-virus is no longer compatible. No Anti-Virus, NO BROWSING ON FIREFOX!!!!

Are you sure you're not referring to an extension that is included with the ant-virus program? Anti-virus programs work on the system level, so it shouldn't matter what version of Firefox you are using. Sometimes AV programs come with bells and whistles, like adding menus, options, or toolbars to certain programs. If that's the case, don't worry; your anti-virus program is still working fine with Firefox.

If you go to Help > Troubleshooting Information then click Copy all to Clipboard, open a reply to this post, and go to Edit > Paste to paste the info from your Troubleshooting Information page, we should be able to see if you have any extensions installed on Firefox by an anti-virus program.

Hi BCMadden, when companies make add-ons for Firefox, they can choose to specify a range of versions with which it works. Firefox will liberally try to run it on later versions unless the developer specifies that the range needs to be strictly observed. This might be the case for your Trend Micro add-on.

One of these two updates probably will help:

Firefox 13 hotfix (current version of Titanium): Installing hotfix for Titanium 2012 NSC extension for Firefox 13

Firefox 13 hotfix (previous version of Titanium): Installing hotfix for Titanium 2011 NSC extension for Firefox 13

Any luck?
