Yesterday I could download any videos off youtube using the downloading add-on.

Today, when I click download, it goes to a dead page that shows nothing except the message mentioned in the above question.

I tried uninstalling Firefox, then reinstalling, and a few different add-ons that do the same thing, yet still, this message is coming up on a blank page, and I can't do anything with it.

I looked through answers on here for similar issues, but nothing helps.

Please help!

That looks like a broken (incomplete) link to a video on a server that YouTube uses to host their videos. There should be a lot more GET data in that link.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Try to disable all other extensions except the video downloader to see if that helps.
