Mozilla still doesn't load some Flash content
Hello, I've had this problem for months now, I can't load some flash content while using mozilla firefox. I can watch Youtube videos on the website, but I can't play games on Facebook, or watch videos on Facebook, or see any basic flash content on websites. Yes, Mozilla Firefox has been updated, Yes, Adobe Flash Player has been updated, Yes, RealPlayer has been updated too. So, what can I do?

Just in case there is a conflict, could you disable the DivX plugins here:
orange Firefox button or classic Tools menu > Add-ons > Plugins category
You might also consider disabling the new protected mode in Flash 11.3-11.4, since that feature is currently being debugged. See this support article from Adobe under the heading "Last Resort": Adobe Forums: How do I troubleshoot Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox?
I have tried to disable the DivX plugins, disabling the protected mode, and even did a clean uninstall of Flash and reverted to the 10.3 version, but I still have the same problems.
Are you using an extension to download the videos?
YouTube (Google) seems to have made changes to their servers once again and that prevent download extensions from working properly. A lot of such extensions have been updated to fix this issue, so make sure to check if the is an update.

My problem is not downloading videos, they just don't appear, I can hear the audio, but the video is all white. On Youtube the only difference is that before trying to uninstall Adobe (step above) I could watch videos, now that I have reinstalled them I can only hear audio, and the video is all black.
Hi moonlily,
try to Turn off hardware acceleration in Firefox and "disable the hardware acceleration" in the Flash Player too :

thank you
Hey, thank you for your suggestion ideato, all Flash content seems to work now! Though I tried to play a game on facebook and it seemed to be very laggy? Does disabling hardware acceleration cause lag?
Does disabling hardware acceleration cause lag?
I think hardware acceleration would help with rendering 3D graphics; all those curves and perspectives are more demanding to calculate. It probably doesn't make much difference with 2D graphics.
Hmm ok... so can anyone think of a better alternative? It's alright like this, but it's still not working perfectly so there must be another solution?
