Hi there, it's not crashing my Firefox and since you have already tried reset and safe mode, I'd guess that it's your graphics driver that crashes Firefox. I'd suggest that you upgrade it to the latest version. Here is how: Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL

If that doesn't work, the last ressort might be to disable hardware acceleration: Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems

Hope this helps!

I do not even pretend to be knowledgeable enough to advise a professional webdesigner.

If it helps note that I am able to view the site from Firefox on a Linux platform, apparently the site is not crashing all Firefox browsers. I have not yet tried on Windows. Have you tried using a new clean profile on Firefox.

Update OOPs

  • I did not notice you had tried the firefox reset already, so a new profile would not help
  • safe mode does itself disables hardware acceleration. That is sometimes enough to prevent crashes when troubleshooting graphics problems

Glad you fixed it anyway, so I have now marked Kadir's post as the solution.

I went thru the steps recommended by Mozilla. In safe mode , Firefox did not crash, so one by one I enabled ad-dons until I found the culprit. It was the Norton toolbar; It is apparently incompatible with version 18.0.1 This is an issue for Symantec to resolve, so I will have to post up on their forum.
