Every time I try to use GoogleMaps it crashes Firefox. I'm in Sri Lanka, but I'm Canadian so I most often use google.ca (but both google.ca and google.lk maps crash).

As far as I know everything has been updated. I followed some walkthrough on how to check that all of my add ons/plug ins were updated and did a system check for any software updates (and updated them).

Here are my latest crash IDs.

It's just started crashing for me, but it seems to only happen if I'm using Open GL. If I turn it off, it works fine ... so far!

I've had the same issue. New google maps crashed on me twice yesterday, so I've gone back to the old one. I was running Firefox 20.0.1. Crash reports have been submitted to Mozilla, here are the crash ID's:

bp-d8a726b3-355a-46ca-81c0-e47c12130524 submitted 24 May 2013 18:04 (Amsterdam/Paris time)

bp-857b4578-9e18-4c2f-8156-d45412130524 submitted 24 May 2013 18:50 (Amsterdam/Paris time).

I guess this is probably a fault on Google's side, not Mozilla ?

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Thank you cor-el

I will apply this tip on another login ID on my machine, then re-use the new Google Maps and if it still crashes I'll post it here.
