Since 20.0.1, firefox automatically saves my tabs when I close. I don't see any option to stop this. How do I stop this?

When I close firefox, the tabs that I have open at the time of closing are saved. When I reopen firefox, those same tabs are reloaded. I don't like this. I would prefer to see my homepage first. This first became a problem after installing the most recent update to firefox, which is 20.0.1. I've searched, and I can't find an option to disable this.

You can check the startup setting and make sure that "Show my home page" is selected.

  • Tools > Options > General > Startup: When Firefox Starts:

Make sure that Firefox closes properly to make sure that Firefox isn't restoring a possibly crashed session.

  • Use "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: "Firefox > Quit Firefox"; Linux: "Firefox/File > Quit") to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the Firefox title bar.
