Accessing certain sites that use certificates issued by “Geo Trust SSL CA – G2” generate the “invalid security certificate” error in Fire Fox 22 as this Certificate Authority is missing in the browser’s CA Store. This certificate is available in IE and was available in the previous version of the browser.

Note that servers need to send intermediate certificates to make it possible to build a certificate chain.
If you have visited a website that sends such a intermediate certificate then Firefox stores it or future use and you won't get an error.
If that certificate is no longer stored (e.g. after a reset or deleted otherwise) then you will get an error.
