Hello. I downloaded this font:

http://www.1001fonts.com/wasser-font.html

Installed it on my computer and trying to use it in a local htm file like [p style="font-family: Wasser;"] I don't need it on a website, if i just get it working in a local file that's good enough.

Using mozilla firefox 23.0.1 on windows 7. Checked on 2 pc's. Other fonts display fine. Chrome and IE display the Wasser font fine. Web console shows no errors, when i go to inspector->fonts it indicates that it recognized the font. But still there's only squares :p

Try these steps:

  1. Go to about:config in Firefox
  2. Change the gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled value to True

Did this fix your issue?

Thanks, but no, that value was already set to True by default :)

I'm sorry, but Firefox just seems to have some font compatibility issues.

I hope that this issue doesn't negatively impact your Firefox browsing or support experience and I hope that you will continue to browse the web with Mozilla Firefox.

The Wasser font isn't working for me on Linux.
Firefox uses the default font instead (DejaVu serif)

It works in Google Chrome, but not in Firefox.
