I saw that I can use ctrl u and the type and it will be underlined. Unfortunately for me, when I again type ctrl u again to turn off the feature, it undoes the underline on the desired letter.

password accepts only alphabets (normal , no special underlined or etc)numbers same special character

Where are you typing this? For example, in an email message on a webmail site like Yahoo Mail or Gmail, or outside of Firefox in a program like Microsoft Word? Each is going to have its own way of handling underlining and controlling what different keys do.
