I'm trying to learn all the features of Aurora. I cannot find information on Aurora user interface on Mozilla.org or via Aurora Help menu. All I find i FireFox help. Does Aurora do anything different from FireFox or is it just a more advanced implementation of the same Browser UI?

Aurora is the 2nd alpha "testers" version of what will become Firefox 27.0 in a few months. If you are new to using Firefox, I recommend that you install Firefox 25.0.1 instead of using Aurora.

No the Aurora is the name of one of the development channels that 27.0a2 is currently being developed on, not a codename.

There are two development channels (Nightly: alpha 1 and Aurora: alpha 2) for Firefox and a Beta channel.
New code patches are usually first applied to the Nightly channel and bubble down with a 6 week delay to the next channel.
