I wonder how I can disable the built-in mp3-player in Firefox 26 for Linux (Ubuntu). I have already found the answer changing the entry "media.windows-media-foundation.enabled" in the about:config, but there seems to be no such entry in the Linux version. Anyone got an idea?

Hello eiersalat, check the media.gstreamer.enabled in the about:config, set it to False.

(i suppose, you have 26.0 firefox EDIT : yes you have 26.0)
