print not registering
I am running Firefox 26 on a Windows 8.1 machine. Every day I go to www.theguardian.com to look at articles and sometimes I wish to print one out. When I use the print facility my printer churns out the correct number of pages with headings of the URL. date etc but no article. A typical URL would be http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/jan/20/ukraine-police-protesters-clash-kiev/print However, If I use Google Chrome as my browser everything prints as it should. Firefox is set tp empty its cache when I close down so the problem isn't there. Has anyone an idea about this as I do wish to use Firefox but may have to change in order to get my print jobs.

Hi norrum,
maybe it helps:
If you cannot see any content on pages you printed or in print preview, the cause might be margins which are set too high.
- In order to check the margins, we need to go to File > Page Setup.
- Once this is done, switch to the Margins & Header/Footer tab.
- Check what's set there under Margins.
The following are the default values for Margins:
Right: 12.7
Top: 12.7
Left: 12.7
Bottom: 12.7
Check these values accordingly and change them if necessary.
Sorry Mynry but the margins are correct. Thank you for your help

mh.. ok - my last idea - try this https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-printing-problems-firefox
Thanks again, but I'm afraid I'd already tried that and nothing worked. Guess I'll just have to use my iPad to print out. Obviously there is some block between the Guardian website and Firefox. Everything else prints without any trouble. I have contacted the Guardian but they can't come up with anything either. best wishes
